Head of Transactions - Aberdeen, Scotland
The Head of Transactions will build, lead and mentor a high-performing transactions team (transaction leads and commercial structuring leads), setting clear accountabilities, standards and ways of working. The role requires an individual who has extensive experience delivering complex energy transactions and commercial structures in the UK, with a strong understanding of local energy business models, routes to market, revenue mechanisms/income streams and risk allocation.
Head of Digital Product - Aberdeen, Scotland
The Head of Digital Product will own the digital vision, roadmap and delivery plan for the GBE Local Platform, aligning priorities to GBE Local objectives and user needs. The role requires an individual who has significant experience leading digital products or platforms end-to-end, from discovery through build, launch and continuous improvement.
Transaction Lead x2 - Aberdeen, Scotland
The Transaction Lead will lead end-to-end transaction execution for local and community energy opportunities, including direct investments (equity, quasi-equity, loans) and investments via third parties (e.g., community energy groups, local authority vehicles, developers, funds or aggregators). The role requires an individual with a strong track record of executing transactions in energy, infrastructure, project finance or corporate finance, including leading negotiations and coordinating advisers through to financial close.
Supply Chain Investment Lead x2 - Aberdeen/Edinburgh, Scotland
The Supply Chain Investment Lead will manage delivery and project management of supply chain investments, lead engagement with companies to screen initial investment propositions, and support commercial negotiations and lead on the production of supporting materials to drive the decision-making process through GBE and government – including DESNZ and HMT. The role requires an individual with experience delivering commercial agreements with the private sector, and structuring and managing investments or other financial transactions, for example within but not limited to equity investments, concessional finance or debt financing.
Commercial Manager (Onshore Development) - Aberdeen/Edinburgh, Scotland
The Commercial Manager (Onshore Development) will develop and implement the commercial strategy for renewable energy projects from pre-FID through construction, working with the Project and Investment teams to support investment cases, FID packs, and project approvals with robust commercial input. The role requires an individual with significant experience in commercial management, quantity surveying, or project controls.
GIS Analyst - Aberdeen, Scotland
The GIS Analyst will collect, clean, validate, and maintain geospatial datasets from multiple internal and external sources, produce high‑quality maps, dashboards, and spatial visualisations for reports, presentations, and digital platforms, and work with internal teams and external stakeholders to define GIS requirements and analytical needs. The role requires an individual with strong experience in GIS software, including ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.

The Investment Lead Onshore/Offshore will lead the origination, evaluation, structuring, and execution of renewable energy investment opportunities, including co-development deals, acquisitions, and joint ventures. The role requires an individual with strong experience in executing investment or financing transactions in the renewable energy or wider energy infrastructure sector, with demonstrated ability in leading commercial negotiations and structure complex deals, including joint-ventures, partnerships, co-investments, or acquisitions.
