Advice and support to help you develop a local energy project

Great British Energy is investing in organisations across the UK that provide technical, commercial and project development support to communities and local organisations developing clean energy projects.

Funding alone is not always enough. Communities and councils may also need specialist advice, practical expertise and connections to take a project from an initial idea to delivery.

Support in your nation

Development advice and support are available across all four nations, through different routes.

England

Your Local Net Zero Hub is the main point of support. They give tailored advice and can review draft applications.

Support is available through CARES, delivered by Local Energy Scotland. Great British Energy is investing in the Community Energy Growth Fund and CARES Launchpad Programme.
