Advice and support to help you develop a local energy project
Great British Energy is investing in organisations across the UK that provide technical, commercial and project development support to communities and local organisations developing clean energy projects.
Funding alone is not always enough. Communities and councils may also need specialist advice, practical expertise and connections to take a project from an initial idea to delivery.
Scotland
Support is available through CARES, delivered by Local Energy Scotland. Great British Energy is investing in the Community Energy Growth Fund and CARES Launchpad Programme.
Wales
The Welsh Government Energy Service helps public bodies and community organisations develop local energy projects.
Northern Ireland
Great British Energy is supporting Advice NI to provide project development support.
