Capacity and Capability Service Manager x3 - Aberdeen/Edinburgh

The Capacity and Capability Service Manager will play a critical role in ensuring that GBE’s capability and capacity service delivers support to communities and local authorities to provide advice, guidance and technical assistance and lead the development of standard delivery models.

The Capacity and Capability Coordinator will be responsible for developing and delivering the service to support and enable communities and local authorities to establish community energy groups, develop projects and standardise delivery models.

Director of Compliance and Ethics - Aberdeen/Edinburgh

The Director of Compliance and Ethics will be responsible for establishing Great British Energy’s compliance function from the ground up, leading the design, implementation and ongoing operation of the organisation’s compliance and ethics framework. Integral to this role will be an understanding of GBE’s status as a private limited company wholly owned by Government and subject to regulation as an investor in energy projects and businesses, an energy company and as a publicly funded entity.

Director of Delivery - Local Energy - Aberdeen

The Director of Delivery – Local Energy is responsible for leading the development of GBE delivery model for community and local energy projects, particularly behind the meter solar and battery projects. Enabling GBE to translate the ambition of the Local Power Plan into tangible outcomes for communities, local authorities and the wider public sector.

Head of Health and Safety - Aberdeen

The Head of Health, Safety, Wellbeing & Security will be responsible in shaping and embedding Great British Energy's approach to health, safety, wellbeing and security as the organisation grows. Reporting at a strategic level, the postholder will develop and lead the HSWS framework, governance structures, management systems and cultural initiatives that support GBE's ambition to become a leading public energy company.
